Diesel XXX party

To celebrate Diesel 30th anniversary, a XXX party and special sales of jeans was hold. The colors used is quite remarkable bcos on the posters and the promotion video, colors in 70's popular cartoon were used so as to emphasis it's start up in 1978.



It's is common in 70's cartoon that pastel colors like pale pink, pale violet, banana yellow and light olive green are matched with psychic colors such as turquoise, magenta and dark-cyan.
So colors used in the video generated atmosphere of oldies.

"We are not selling clothes..." said Renso Rosso.
In diesel's advertisement, it is not difficult to find that social, political issuEs are the focus.
It is actually the prevailing "life style", which reflects the current living reality, is the brand selling.
Hence the color of the soul - hard advertisement is analysed.
