Color of Collection in Each Season

In each season, few sets of color combinations are used. Here below would show how the colors are proportioned and what the effects are generated.

09SS 

Collection I  -- Light Blue Monochromatic + Achromatic

 Main Color:

The refreshing light blue is made calmer by it's lower chromatic blue and lower value blue.

Then blue is harmonized by yellowish gray.

Light Blue + Gray => low energy level

Collection II -- Khaki Analogous + Accent Color

Main Color:

The pale and low chromatic khaki is harmonized by analogous yellowish gray,

which make the khaki even more lower chromatic.

But the whole outfit is made more lively by accent dark and sharp cyan.

The colors are nearly achromatic. Since the color tends to reddish / yellowish,

the scene still looks warmful.

Dirt Khaki + dark / cyan => low energy level

Collection III -- Achromatic + Navy

Main Color:
Low chromatic in high value + low value => general energy level

Collection IV -- Pastel monochromatic

Main Color:
Nearly only single hue in low value is used in each outfit.

The monochromatic colors are totally harmonized.

The chroma differences between each blue are small.

Although the colors are light, there's no contrasting / accent color and hence results in feeling of purity.

  Main Color: 

By very dark colors, high chromatic colors are accented resulting in active appearance.

A highly recognizable impact is achieved.
Sharp red / turquoise + achromatic/low chromatics in high value => very high energy level

Collection II -- Achromatics

  Main Color: 

There should be great impact by achromatic colors in high value, but the effect is neutralized by some soft beige, denim color or medium gray.

Achromatic in high value => General energy level

Collection III -- Pastel Analogous

  Main Color: 
Pale colors are matched with analogous / neutral tone, generating soft and gentle effect.

They are very harmonized and feminine.

Pastel + neutral => low energy level

Collection IV -- Dark Cyan analogous + Achromatic

  Main Color: 

Dark Cyan, which leaves impression of complicates, is matched with analogous color and sophisticated by white.

Dark Cyan analogous + achromatic  => high energy level

Main Color:
Color used are extreme black or extreme white, the combination of which generated great impact.

They are intensifying each others.

High value black + white => General energy level

Collection II -- Metallic + Black

Main Color:

Copper color, which is shiny in nature, is made subtle with black color.

Collection III -- Purple + Achromatic

Main Color:
The high value purple is intensified by the extreme black and extreme white.

Purple in high value + Extreme black / white => high energy level

Collection I -- Very dark blue analogous

  Main Color: 

The whole outfits are made very heavy by the very high value but low chroma blue and black,

(The black inclines to blue)

resulting feeling of formality.

Blue in low chroma but high value analogous => general energy level

Collection II -- Monochromatic + Crimson

  Main Color: 

Little addition of crimson color has accented the black/white, making the outfit lively.

Achromatic + crimson => high energy level

Collection III -- Pale beige / Gray Analogous

  Main Color: 

Colors are in low value.

Beige / gray analogous => Very low energy level

Collection IV -- Purple / dark slate green monochromatic

  Main Color: 

Both purple and dark slate green is played with its monochromatic and analogous color.

The chroma differences are large, hence they could enlarge each others.

The complimentary effect between Purple and Olive is not so exaggerated because they are in low chroma level, but the combination is still chic.

After all, they are still the variation of psychic color.

Collection V -- Red + Color in low chroma

  Main Color: 

The red color is not totally red in winter, but the tuned-down red is still exciting.

The red is more dramatic with black and white, but with bigger white, the outcome is fresher.

Red is subtler with it's monochromatic maroon red, but it is louder (small but smart)with olive green.

Red + Earth tone color => high energy level

Collection VI - Denim

  Main Color: 

The Denim, which is in low chroma, with mud color base is either matched with the mud analogous color in even lower chroma, or matched with dull maroon. 

Denim + counter color in higher chroma ∝ energy level
